Angola Mission Update
We returned from our mission trip to Angola. We held revival meetings and gained an insight into the work and how God is leading in this breathtaking country. Below are some snapshots of our experience.
The Adventist church in Angola has over half a million members. Pathfinders are an effective method to evangelize, but they have active Community Services and other church programs. I saw that certain parts of the church sadly lack basics - such as a weatherproof roof and finished walls, not to mention a sound system and fans. The church leadership there asked me to let others know about the need: 15,000 USD would help them redo the roof and walls, finish badly needed repairs, and install a sound system. You can support this project directly by clicking the link below.
In addition, there is interest in having a center of influence: a small clinic, a building to hold their giveaways, and volunteers to staff such an outreach: a nurse, other medical professionals, and, of course, supplies. Are you interested? Reach out to us.
Upcoming Events:
Belize Mission Trip: April 28 - May 11—Due to scheduling conflicts, we had to move the trip's dates to avoid conflict with other local events.
Angola Mission Trip: TBD—We have been asked to hold evangelistic meetings in the capital city of Luanda. This is an opportunity to reach a bustling city with people open to hearing the gospel. Partner with us to bring health and children’s programs to this series.
We will resume our general newsletter soon, but we felt it necessary to address why some of you received our paid content. Please bear with us.
